The schools are listed here in apparent order of advertising bellicosity. If you are promising, then you have to deliver. We are big fans of the Chickenhawk Database, which records that the more vigorous someone is as an advocate of war, the less likely that they are to put their own lives on the line. Media figures such as Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh are prominent examples. Well, let's challenge the schools who do all the talking to show that they deliver.

Owned by the Kaplan Group, an education conglomerate which is associated with the Washington Post. It has recently merged with another school owned by Kaplan, CEI, and has taken over their Mission Gorge Rd campus.
At the old Kearny Villa campus, we met admissions counselor Craig Hinson, an ex Marine and a cool guy.
There is some talk that they may disband their IT program. |

An accredited school, so at last you will be eligible to get very low cost Federal loans (about 2.8% currently). These probably won't cover all your tuition so expect some higher interest private loans too. Being accredited, that pushes the price higher, but you may end up getting something which is worth more than the proprietary qualifications that the certificate mills provide, an associate's degree. If it turns out that the world isn't anxiously awaiting with a "high paying computer career" for you, that your degree can be recognized for other careers.
They do advertise a lot. Some of the campuses got raided by the FBI in early 2004, see this site for a discussion about that and the school's reputation.
An irony is that the school told me that many students of theirs intern with the FBI.
